Terms of service
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date of legal review]
These terms are an agreement between Stint Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000) (“we”, “us”) and the business that signs up for Stint (“you”, “your dealership”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your dealership.
The service
Stint is an online tool for tracking vehicles through reconditioning. We may improve and change it over time; we won’t remove core features from your plan during a paid period without notice.
Accounts and users
- The person who signs up becomes the account owner and must be authorised to act for the dealership.
- You can invite as many users as you like. You are responsible for who you invite and what they do in your account.
- Keep sign-in details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.
Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial with Pro features. No payment details are needed. If you don’t choose a plan by the end of the trial, your account becomes read-only: everyone can still sign in and view your data, but vehicles can’t be added or moved until an owner chooses a plan. We don’t delete your data when a trial ends.
Plans, fees and billing
- Plans and prices are listed on our pricing page. Fees are in Australian dollars and billed in advance, monthly or annually.
- Stint Pty Ltd is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- If a payment fails we’ll let you know and retry. If it still hasn’t succeeded after [PLACEHOLDER: grace period, e.g. 7 days], the account becomes read-only until payment is made.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Plan limits
Each plan includes a number of cars in recon and locations. If you go over, we’ll let you know and give you 14 days to upgrade or bring the count down. After that, adding new cars pauses until you do; you can always keep working on the cars already in the system.
Your data
Your dealership owns the data it puts into Stint. You give us permission to host, copy and process it only as needed to provide the service. We handle personal information as described in our privacy policy. You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, or to store content you don’t have the right to use.
- Don’t try to access other dealerships’ data, disrupt the service, or get around plan limits or security.
- Don’t resell the service without our written agreement.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Support is by email.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or end an account that seriously breaches these terms, after giving notice where reasonable.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we’ll email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Questions: support@stint.au.
